Superb eating quality. XTH 1273 offers superb eating quality and tenderness in a 73 day yellow variety. Very refined 8″ ears are produced on sturdy plants with few tillers. Ears have 16-18 rows of bright and glossy yellow kernels and strong tip fill. A dark green husk with medium-long dark green flags covers the tender and sweet kernels and offers good protection to the ear. An excellent variety for roadside and local markets. Isolation required.
