The fruit have a medium red-orange color with occasional tan striping, slight ribs and an oblate to round shape. Depending on cultural practices, the fruit can weigh from 50 to more than 125 lbs. If you have a market for extra-large pumpkins, then Big Moose should be in your planting plans this year. Note: A small percentage of the fruit turn a salmon color.
